DPO-pro is the Professional Assocation of Data Protection Officers in Belgium. This non-profit organisation has been created by DPO’s for DPO’s.

Vision

It’s aims are:

     Support a thriving community of DPOs

DPO-pro helps DPOs connect with each other and provide access to certification bodies, training organisations and other useful resources.

    Promote and represent the DPO profession

DPO-pro acts as a sounding board and advocate for DPOs by representing the profession in close collaboration with privacy authorities, governments and other stakeholders at the national and international level.
 

   Help DPOs stay on top of the latest & greatest

DPO-pro facilitates sharing experience and best practices through targeted events that help DPOs in their day-to-day activities.

 FEB supports the launch of the new Belgian Association for DPO | RGPD | FEB | 25.03.2020

Come and attend the first event of the new DPO Pro association, the Belgian Association of Data Protection Officers, which brings together the Belgian branch of the AFCDP with the existing DPO Pro association.

Cybersecurity of data, cookie policies as well as the sanctions policy of our Data Protection Authority will be at the focus of this afternoon's conference.

Are you a Data Protection Officer (DPO) or a privacy officer, French or Dutch speaking, in charge of the legal, technical, IT, human resources, marketing, ... aspects of personal data processing? In that case, we have good news for you: we are launching a Belgian association of privacy professionals, a merger of AFCDP (Association Française des Correspondants à la Protection des Données à Caractère Personnel - Belgian section) and DPO Pro, supported by FEB.

This association will enable you to exchange experiences and will organise seminars, conferences and discussion platforms. It aims to be the privileged interlocutor of privacy professionals with the Data Protection Authority. It represents, in all sectors of activity, both public and private, all persons in charge of implementing the GDPR.
